Miss Tourism World 2021 postponed to June 2021

The Miss Tourism Organisation has announced that the 30th edition of Miss Tourism World i.e. Miss Tourism World 2021, which was supposed to be held from 7th to 23rd May 2021 in Antalya,Turkey, has been postponed to June 2021 for the time being.

The news comes in the continuation of the restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic that still holds the whole world in suspense. The organisation released a statement, “The competition we planned in May in Turkey will be postponed due to increase in the number of Covid Cases in many countires. Turkey reached the highest number of cases on March 31, 2021 since the day covid entered. About 40,000 cases were observed in one day. Many countries such as Turkey share the same fate. Many countries have banned entry and exit. The world health organization announced that we are experiencing the most difficult period of the newly formed covid process.”

 

Miss Tourism World 2021 postponed to June 2021

 

The organisation has, for now, decided to wait for a month for the competition. If the situation creates suitable and appropriate conditions, the competition will be held in June, 2021. If June is not suitable, it will be included in the month of October.

Meanwhile, current Miss Tourism World Juliana Giselle Nikol of Australia, continues to be the Tourism Ambassador as Miss Tourism World.
