Miss Tourism World Final postponed to January 2022

The Miss Tourism organization has recently announced that the 30th edition of Miss Tourism World i.e. Miss Tourism World 2021 has been postponed to 10th to 23rd January 2022 now. The news comes in the continuation of the Covid-19 pandemic process.

In an official announcement they wrote, “It has been decided to participate 50 countries to the organization to be held in Antalya, one of the most beautiful cities in Turkey and the world. For this reason, we will determinate this by preliminary. Our competitors remaining out of 50 countries will participate in the competition again, if they want, as 2022 finalists.”

This is the third time that the pageant has been postponed. Initially it was scheduled to be held in May 2021 and then was postponed to June 2021. Later, the organization had announced that if June would not suitable, it will be included in the month of October.

During the May schedule of the pageant, Turkey reached the highest number of cases. About 40,000 cases were observed in one day. Many countries such as Turkey shared the same fate. Many countries had banned entry and exit. The world health organization had also announced that they are experiencing the most difficult period of the newly formed covid process, leading them to postpone the edition.

Meanwhile, current Miss Tourism World Juliana Giselle Nikol of Australia, continues to be the Tourism Ambassador as Miss Tourism World and will now crown her successor next year in January.
