Tara Madelein De Vries was crowned Miss Universe Turkey 2018 on 24th September 2018 during the grand finale of Miss Turkey 2018 held on 24th September 2018. She will now represent Turkey in Miss Universe 2018 to be held on 17th December 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand. Tara Madelein was chosen amongst 19 other contestants.
Tara Madelein was crowned by Miss Universe Turkey 2017 Pinar Tartan. Pinar represented Turkey in Miss Universe 2017. She remained unplaced in the finale but came in 9th in the Best in Swimsuit category.
Tara Madelein is 19 years of age with a height of 177 cm. She was born in the Netherlands. Currently, she is a first-year student in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department Of Business Administration in KOÇ University.
Tara Madelein is the daughter of none other than Miss Turkey 1992 Ozlem Kaymaz. She is a legacy and already has thousands of fans. Along with the support and the genes of her mother by her side, she will be an unstoppable force in Miss Universe 2018.
