Olivia Jordan shared her views on Donald Trump’s Presidential win

“A bit of vulnerability for you- Yesterday I voted for Hillary Clinton and shared one of my most misunderstood posts that I've ever experienced on this page. I try to keep everything I put out positive, uplifting, empowering or humorous. I knew it was a controversial and heated Election Day. I was proud to be part of history that a woman was on that ballot representing the Democratic party, I was excited by what that meant for how far women are coming. I did not vote for her simply because she was a woman. Clinton and I share similar values and I respect the work she has done for our country and for the world. I felt with her many years of experience she was the most fit for the job. You do NOT need to agree with me. I understand that half the country feels very differently than I do. But I also feared that electing a president that ran on a platform full of intimidating rhetoric might create a culture of more bullying. So I made a comment about how I would like to live in a world without getting trashed on days I post no-makeup selfies. I UNDERSTAND that a president does not control how people comment on insta-feeds. But I was just blissfully hoping for a future where there isn't so much toxicity in our world reflected in the comment section online. We do not need to agree on everything (or anything), but can we please respect each other. I've spent most of the past 24 hours crying over this election, trying to process this. I will support our POTUS and pray for him and our country daily. I feel hurt, but not defeated. Praying for a world where we can help each other lift up, help each other heal the obvious wounds that so many of us (on both sides of the vote) are feeling, help each other create a positive, inclusive, loving country where we can all live- with our differing beliefs- in harmony.????? #riseup #liveinlove #nomakeup #nofilter #nobullying #createpositivechange #onelove

PS no I don't have to vote for my former "boss". I'm grateful for my former job but that does NOT mean that I base my vote or my political opinions on that job. And I don't mind the unfollows. I actually much prefer them to the bullying comments.”

Olivia Jordan also reminded her followers that a decision doesn’t mean that people are not entitled to voice their opinion. She told her followers that they can use their voice for good and added, "I will raise my voice. I will march. I will fight to make messages of love louder than messages of fear."

What is your take on the newly appointed President- Donald Trump?
