Kára McCullough represented the District of Columbia at Miss USA 2017 and was crowned the winner by outgoing title holder Deshauna Barber, also of the District of Columbia. She represented the United States at Miss Universe 2017, where she placed in the top ten.

As her reign comes to an end, Kára McCullough is making sure that she actively participates in the bringing forward of the next set of beauty queens. The first step that the reigning beauty has taken towards this goal of is to show support to the Miss NM USA 2018And Miss NM Teen USA 2018 by being present on the finale night.

This weekend at the Onate Performance Art Center (located at 5700 Mesa Grande Dr. Las Cruces, New Mexico),Kára McCullough will join the crowd of thousands as they cheer together at the crowning of the next Miss NM USA 2018And Miss NM Teen USA 2018.

About the competitions, Miss NM USA 2018 And Miss NM Teen USA 2018:

The doors will open at 6:30 pm, for the preliminary competition on Saturday, Jan 27 at 8 pm. After the prelims, the New Mexico contestants will be escorted to the Hotel Encanto ballroom for the meet and greet party.

The final competition will be held on Sunday, Jan 28 at 3 pm, and the doors will open at 1:30 pm. Tickets will be on sale at the door both nights. Press passes will be available in the Lobby for pick up along with a program book.
