27 Jan 2020 | Camilla Suarez

Miss New Mexico USA 2020 hosted its coronation ceremony on 26th January 2020 at New Mexico State University Center in Las Cruces where Cecilia Rodriguez of South Valley was crowned as the new queen as she becomes the official representative of New Mexico for the title of Miss USA 2020. Cecilia succeeds and was crowned by Miss New Mexico USA 2019 Alejandra Gonzalez.

Cecilia is 25-years-old and has represented San Diego Cities at Miss USA 2016 but unfortunately couldn’t win the title. Even though she couldn’t win the title, the diva didn’t give up and kept working on herself and her skills where she thought she lacked and in her last attempt, she finally has a crown over her head and an opportunity to represent New Mexico for the title of Miss USA 2020.

Cecilia’s experience in the pageantry world will help her strengthen her chances at the winning of the title and she has already started to prepare herself for the finale. She has started to work on her onstage walk, her body language and communication skills so that she can not only impress the judging panel but ace the question and answer round.

Cecilia is strong, confident and focused towards winning and wants to use this opportunity to represent USA at Miss Universe 2020.  The diva looked stunning as she wore a silver gown with embroidery in the upper half of it for the crowning ceremony.
