The 71st annual edition of Miss USA is all set to be held late this year as the organization has announced the finale details for the upcoming edition. Miss USA 2022 will be held on 3rd October 2022 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada.

Miss USA organization decided to choose the abovementioned venue to honor Cheslie’s memory and keep her legacy alive, as this is where she was crowned in 2019. The heartbreaking news of former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst's unexpected and unfortunate death shocked the beauty pageant business and her supporters.

The president of the Miss USA Organization, Crystle Stewart, shared her thoughts on the choice of venue as she spoke, "In 2019, I had the honor and privilege of judging the Miss USA pageant at the Grand Sierra Resort and Spa in Reno and crowning former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst. In honor of Cheslie's memory, we found it to be a fitting, full-circle moment that this year, the 2022 Miss USA pageant will be held at the same venue in Reno, Nevada, not only as a way to keep Cheslie's legacy alive but also to pay homage to the great city of Reno."

It will air LIVE on FYI and Hulu Live TV at 5PM PST/8PM EST on October 3, 2022. The show is produced by The Miss Brand Corporation, under the leadership of Crystle Stewart. 51 delegates are all set to compete for the national crown as the winner will represent USA at Miss Universe 2022.
