R’Bonney Gabriel of Texas crowned Miss USA 2022

The 71st edition of Miss USA, i.e. Miss USA 2022, was held tonight at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada where R’Bonney Gabriel of Texas was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of USA at Miss Universe 2022. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss USA 2021 Elle Smith of Kentucky.

R’Bonney Gabriel is 28 years of age and a fashion designer and model. The stunning beauty runs her own eco-friendly clothing line. Gabriel made history by becoming the first ever Filipino-American woman to win the Miss USA crown.

 

 

The newly crowned Miss USA 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Morgan Romano of North Carolina

2nd Runner-up – Natalie Pieper of Nebraska

3rd Runner-up – Sir'Quora Carroll of Ohio

4th Runner-up – Angel Reyes of Illinois

Top 12 also included Cynthia Dias of Connecticut, Elyse Noe of Kansas, Madeline Helget of Minnesota, Camila Sacco of New Hampshire, Suzanne Perez of New Mexico, Emily Suttle of Tennessee, and Kelsey Golonka of Vermont. Top 16 also included Tiffany Johnson of California, Faith Porter of the District of Columbia, Mikala McGhee of Missouri, and Krystian Leonard of West Virginia.

 

 

Miss USA 2022 was produced by The Miss Brand Corp under the leadership of former Miss USA Crystle Stewart. Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst, who tragically passed away earlier this year was honoured during the show at the same venue where she was crowned.

Reigning Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu from India graced the event as a special guest and was joined by Miss Universe Organization President Paula Shugart and CEO Amy Emmerich. Miss USA 2021 Elle Smith of Kentucky represented USA at Miss Universe 2021 and placed in the Top 10.
