Brooke Bezanson won the title of Miss Montana USA 2017 during the state finale held on September 4, 2016 at Missoula Children’s Theatre in Missoula. Brooke Bezanson succeeds Miss Montana USA 2016, Sibahn Doxey and will now represent the state of Montana at the 66th edition of Miss USA, wherein Deshauna Barber of District of Columbia will crown her successor.
The beautiful delegate is pursuing a Media Arts degree at the University of Montana. Bezanson is an artist, model and athlete, and helped her team clench the 2015 Class B championship in golf.
Ecstatic about the title, Bezanson said, “Work hard, it definitely pays off. Always believe in yourself, always be optimistic, easy-going, I swear, if anything’s troubling you, it’s going to get better. Walking in heals was troubling me and look where I am now.”
The beauty queen hopes the opportunities awarded by the Miss Universe Organization will expand her knowledge of the film industry while helping spread her message of resilience and growth through her own experience. Brooke is really thankful to her family and sponsors for supporting this adventure.

During the coronation gala of Miss Montana USA 2017, Dani Walker was titled as the first runner-up, Emily Madieros was adjudged as the second runner-up, Taylor Cook was announced as the third runner up and Maria Vega finished as the fourth runner-up.
At the same event, Elle Cook was crowned as Miss Teen Montana USA 2017 and will now represent Montana at Miss Teen USA 2017. Montana is yet to win its first Miss USA crown and has placed only thrice at the pageant.
If crowned Miss USA 2017, Bezanson will become the first Montana contestant to earn the national title. The highest-placing contestant from Montana, so far, was Valerie Jackson, who finished in the top 10 in the Miss USA 1952.
