20 year old Jasmine Fuelberth has been crowned as Miss Nebraska USA 2017 and she will have the opportunity to represent her city Norfolk at the prestigious Miss USA 2017 to be held in the month of June 2017. Fuelberth was very delighted when she won the title of Miss Nebraska USA and said, "I just knew that I had prepared the best I could and that I'd done everything that I could to prepare for that moment. And I just left the rest in God's hands."

Fuelberth is the daughter of Carl and Nancy Fuelberth of Norfolk and was also Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2013. This was her first time at the Miss Nebraska USA pageant, which took place at the Rose Theater in Omaha last month.

Fuelberth is a graduate from the Norfolk High School and started pursuing her modeling work after graduation. The delegate is now focusing on the upcoming Miss USA 2017. "There's a lot of training for the national Miss USA pageant, but I also want to just go around the state and speak at schools, which was my favorite thing that I got to do as Miss Nebraska Teen USA. I'd love to continue doing that as Miss Nebraska USA," says Fuelberth.

Fuelberth thinks pageants have been wonderful for her as she has met several of her best friends through pageants. She feels it’s amazing that all these girls are so determined and big dreamers and have a heart and love for people and this was her favorite part throughout the pageant.

After graduating from Norfolk High School, Fuelberth focused on her modeling work, spending time on the West Coast. Now she will focus on the upcoming national pageant. "This town, this community is so behind me and it's amazing. Growing up here in this town, it means a lot because they have been supporting me throughout my entire life….To have the support and love from Norfolk and surrounding community has been amazing. I can't thank everyone enough. I need that, throughout this year, it will be a tough year in certain aspects, fun of course, but it will be demanding. To have friends and family that are praying for me and supporting me through everything is priceless,” said Fuelberth on competing at the pageant.

Fuelberth has already started preparing hard for the Miss USA pageant, which will take place in the month of June this year. The delegate is up for a speedy year with training for the national pageant, meeting with dress designers and working with trainers to gear up for her next big moment. She says she is beyond honored to represent Nebraska in the Miss USA pageant, and will do so to the best of her abilities.
