Aoom Thaweeporn Phingchamrat from Thailand won the Best National Costume Award. For the last three years, India has been winning this award - Gail Nicole Da Silva (2014), Sushrii Shreya Mishraa (2015) and Lopamudra Raut (2016).

Miss United Continents 2017 Best National Costume Winner Thailand Aoom Thaweepon

Her national costume was inspired by the 'King of Fruit' concept, which is such a novel concept used in creating the costume. Durian is the king of fruit which is very famous all over the world and indicates the prosperity of seedling in eastern Thailand. This national costume is very modern presenting a durian in every dimension including its sharp external thorns along with the aromatic and sweet durian pulp inside and sprinkled over with dazzling gold yellow durian flowers.

Every time a finalist won the award for Best National Costume, she managed also to place in Top 6. Will Thailand be able to make it to Top 6 and eventually win the Miss United Continents 2017 title?
