Not new to the pageantry, Daniellee has participated in quite a few pageants before. She was a delegate in Miss Universe Jamaica 2018 and with her amazing performance she placed in the Top 10 at the finals. She has also participated in Miss Global Jamaica pageant where she placed as the first runner-up.

Jamaica did not send any representative to Miss United Continents pageant last year. However, in 2017, Melissa Tate represented Jamaica in Miss United Continents 2017 but failed to win a placement.
