Social networks were flooded with positive comments towards the former Miss Universe, who accepted to direct the local contest. "I think everything goes through something and a reason to be, I'm excited about this challenge and I'm passionate about it, it's something I know with my whole being, I'm passionate about giving the lessons I learned to the girls," the former queen exclaimed at a press conference held on Wapa TV.

Quoted as ‘The queen who would crown a new queen in the world’, the new director emphasized that she feels very enthusiastic about the idea of taking a young woman on the right path to realize her dreams, and to relive all the experiences lived in the past.

Denise shared her emotions by saying, “For me it is a moment of many emotions. It is a very special moment and there are no coincidences. It is very interesting how life weaves dreams. Wapa has always been the beginning of many things. Here I did my first professional job at 17 years old as a dancer. This is where I started and I continued as a co-animator, so here I have lived several stages.”
