Noyonita Lodh, Miss Universe India 2014, chose a thanjore painting of lord Krishna and his mother as her National Gift. She says, “I chose this gift to remind the world about the Peshawar killing where 132 kids were shot. The bond between a mother and child is so sacred and strong. Can you imagine what those mothers would have gone through?”
