The Miss Universe 2014 season is here and the excitement buildup is expanding day by day. As the Final for the 63rd edition of Miss Universe is right around the corner, let us give you a sneak peak to this year’s National Costumes of the candidates. While the first group of delegates, headed off for their Personal Interview session, the remaining contestants had a trial sitting for their national costumes, for the producers and choreographers to be sure of the Wednesday’s Show. The National Costume round is slated to be held right after the Evening gown and Swimsuit tier gets cover. Now, these costumes might not be the confirmed official outfits for the competiton. But these pictures will surely give you a fair idea of how grand and colorful the national costume carnival will be.

Niketa Barker from Guyana looked stunning wearing a yellow costume. The embellishments look lovely and the costume compliments her beauty very well. Elvira Devinamira from Indonesia is a clear winner, with all the intricate detailing and the splendid silhouette of her national costume. Josselyn Garciglia from Mexico was seen trying on a purple colored, peacock inspired costume, with feather interleaved headgear. While Migbelis Castellanos from Venezuela is rumored to be wearing a costume inspired by their national tree, the costume looked more like a bodysuit. Though her costume creation is still halfway, we hope it comes out much better then what it looks now.
