PiaAlonzo Wurtzbach of Philippines was crowned as the Miss Universe 2015 on December 20, 2015. She was born in Stuttgart, Germany and was raised in the Philippines. Apart from acting and modelling, Pia loves cooking. She has studied culinary arts at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies in San Juan, Metro Manila. The beauty queen is now gorgeous at 27 years of age and works as an actress, TV Host, and model, apart from fulfilling her duties as the reigning Miss Universe. The journey of her life is incredibly inspiring, becoming the sole earner in her family after her parent’s divorce, the bubbly girl started her acting career at the age of four, under the stage name Pia Romero.
After her childhood endeavours, gorgeous Pia started to get acting roles in movies such as Kung Ako Na Lang Sana (2003), All My Life (2004), and All About Love (2006). Pia went on to become a stylist, makeup artist, and beauty writer for Philippine Daily Inquirer's 2bU section. The pageant journey was not easy for Pia. After facing the Binibining Pilipinas Pageant judges two times, she finally won the Binibining Pilipinas Universe title at her third attempt in 2015, making it to one of the most renowned international pageants and nailing her victory with her determination, confidence, and hard work.

Currently, the beauty is busy with silently fulfilling her promise of creating HIV awareness and the preparations for the Miss Universe 2016 finale which is scheduled to be held on 30th January’ 2017, in Pia’s home country, Philippines. Don’t we just love her!
