The Half-German and Half- Filipino beauty queen was thrilled with the cover and happily posting a snap from her shoot on the famous social media site Instagram, she said, “My first Cosmo cover! Beyond kilig!?”

Initially the buzz that she will be gracing the April 2016 month edition of the Cosmopolitan Philippines was announced by the Cosmopolitan Philippines itself.

The entire shoot has been captured by the ace fashion photographer BJ Pascual. According to the fashion photographer, it was his fastest cover shoot ever.

Meanwhile, Pia was ecstatic to open up about being Miss Universe to the Cosmopolitan interviewer. The April edition of Cosmo also talked about why she is the best Miss Universe ever.

Pia set the temperature soaring high in various gorgeous bright colored outfits. She donned sky blue, mustard and orange-nude colored (which she donned for the cover) attires during the shoot. By showing little and hiding little, the beauty queen looked super stunning. The beauticians completed Pia’s looks with minimal makeup and kept her locks loose.
