The book will lead all beauty pageant contenders about personality development, projecting an image on the stage and other related topics. The book will also tell Raquel’s wonderful experience at the 65th Miss Universe beauty pageant held in the Philippines where she stole a lot of hearts.

Raquel’s life has been an inspiration to many as, since her childhood, she has been facing life’s new challenges. At the tender age of 3, the beauty was in a 21-day coma, then came out of it and was paralyzed for almost a week. Apart from this, she has survived an earthquake that devastated her hometown completely in January 2010, which ultimately made her value her life and fight for the goals and dreams.

On the launch of her book, she said, “I'm excited to announce that I will be publishing my book "The art of being your beautiful self". It means alot to me to bring that project to life. About 5 months before the last edition of miss universe, i knew very little about pageantry and I had to learn everything like a sponge. Through this pageantry guide, I share everything I learned during this journey and all my tips to succeed. This book goes out to anyone who wants to participate in a pageant but who finds herself doubting about it. This journey is yours to live and you can definitely succeed if you just follow my guidance. Stay tuned. More infos to come. Big thank you to @mscplus for making this happen.”
