Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere is all set for her homecoming. Iris Mittenaere is scheduled to arrive to her native France on March 16th 2017. The beauty queen will be travelling back to her home for the first time, after being crowned Miss Universe.

Below is her Homecoming Schedule:

March 16 – PARIS, Arrival at the Charles de Gaulle International Airport

March 17 to 18 – PARIS, Press conference at the Hôtel Marignan Champs Elysées; a Big Media Tour follows shortly with several television guestings

March 19 – LILLE, Homecoming in Lille (Nord-Pas-de-Calais) her native town

March 20 – PARIS, Charity Gala for “Les Bonnes Fées” at the Hôtel d’Évreux

Miss France Organization, headed by Sylvie Tellier (also a former Miss France titleholder) has planned a meeting with the French President François Hollande in a yet to be confirmed date.

After kicking off her duties as Miss Universe 2016, Iris was spotted vacationing in Bali, Indonesia. The French beauty queen reached Bali, Indonesia, where she enjoyed a sunny respite from the cold winter up north. The newly crowned Miss universe was seen enjoying the beaches, the sunshine and was spotted taking sun-bath in the scenic beauty of Bali.

Iris recently visited the Latino Commission on AIDS and Smile Train. Iris has previously stated that she will be carrying forward former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach’s advocacy of spreading awareness on AIDS and working on the measures for curbing the incurable disease. Smile Train is the charity providing corrective surgery for children with cleft lips and palates. Smile Train was created in 1998 by Brian Mullaney and Charles Wang, who had previously worked with Operation Smile, another charity focused on correcting cleft lips and palates.

Iris Mittenaere is currently in the final year of her dental studies. After finishing her degree in science at lycée, she moved back to her hometown in Lille and took up dentistry at the Lille 2 University of Health and Law. She is pursuing her dream of providing oral hygiene to hundreds of people.
