Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina made her first public appearance after the Miss Universe 2016 finale. The beauty queen attended the opening of the Miss Universe Pop Up Store at Gateway Mall’s activity area.
“Thank you to all my supporters,” Maxine said as media and fans flocked the area for a glimpse and photo ops with the reigning Miss Universe Philippines. The Miss Universe Pop-up store in Gateway Mall is a treat to all as the pageant fanatics will be able to buy exclusive and official merchandise like Miss Universe travel pillows, teddy bears, hoodies, tank tops, and t-shirts. One of the most amazing items in the collection is the replica of the Miss Universe crown. Pia Wurtzbach collection like shirts, tote bags, travel pillows, and posters are also available.
Fans were excited to see Maxine at the mall and also brought the Miss Universe Tour Book at the launch. The Tour Book featured Pia Wurtzbach on the cover donning a stylish Michael Cinco red couture gown. And lucky fans were able to get the Tour Book signed by Maxine.
The Miss Universe Pop-up Store, open at the Gateway Mall until March 10, was launched via a ribbon cutting ceremony led by Maxine with executives of the Araneta Center Inc. (ACI) and partners SM Lifestyle Entertainment, Inc. (SMLEI).
Maxine Medina of Philippines made her way to the Top 6 finalist of Miss Universe 2016 with her exceptional performance, but the beauty stammered a bit during the Q&A of Top 6 which led to her elimination from the Top 3.
