Miss Universe 2016 pageant is walking towards the finale with full swing and is slated to be held on 30th January 2017. As the finale is inching closer, the delegates are gearing up with full preparation. Amidst the pre pageant activities series, around twenty contestants of the Miss Universe 2016 pageant participated in a Terno Fashion Show and various other programs held along Calle Crisologo and Plaza Burgos, Vigan on Sunday, January 15.

	The contestants arrived in Vigan at around noon to enjoy the city’s hospitality and culture. The girls visited the Baluarte Zoo, and also enjoyed a session at loom weaving and jar making. The twenty delegates who were shortlisted for the Terno Fashion show were –

	The city of Vigan witnessed one of the most beautiful nights on Sunday when the beauties of Miss Universe 2016 paraded on the street donning the costumes. The parade moved across some of the key sites including the Spanish colonial houses along the city’s old Calle Crisologo and Plaza Burgos. The Terno is the de facto national costumes of the Philippines and is worn during formal events.

	Apart from the Terno Fashion show, the delegates also attended a press conference held in Baluarte. The conference was owned by former Ilocos Sur governor and pageant sponsor Luis "Chavit" Singson.
