Bretman Rock, a popular social media star is all set to host the red carpet special of the 2016 Miss Universe coronation gala. The news was confirmed by Bretman himself who is very excited to host the red carpet event which will be held on 30th January 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Manila, in the Philippines.

Bretman is popular for his videos on YouTube and Vine, with millions of subscribers on the platforms as well as on Instagram. The internet star shares excitement by posting on his Instagram page, "Hey guys! I'm so excited to officially announce that I'm hosting the MissUniverse red carpet! Tune in live to the Miss (Universe) app on January 29 at 6/5c,"

The born-filipino star who currently resides in Hawaii and has been noticed for his Portuguese descent, may be the one Miss Universe organisation was talking about. Though Bretman does not live in Philippines now, the fact that he is a Filipino by birth makes this probability a big one.
