The reigning Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters is rolling high with her fellow delegates in Manila, Philippines. The girls have officially started their four day Department of Tourism's tour yesterday along with Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere. This tour is to promote tourism in Philippines.
The squad to join the reigning queen consisted of Miss Universe Italy 2017 Maria Miriam Polverino, Miss Universe Russia 2017 KseniaAlexandrova, Miss Universe Spain 2017 Sofia del Prado, Miss Universe Malaysia 2017 Samantha Katie James, Miss Universe Great Britain 2017 Anna Maria Burdzy, Miss Universe Singapore 2017 Manuela Bruntraeger, Miss Universe Canada 2017 Lauren Howe, Miss Universe Netherlands 2017 Nicky Opheij and Miss Universe India ShraddhaShashidar.
Both Demi-Leigh and Iris were looking gorgeous in their black outfits. While Demi-Leigh wore a beautiful black top with coper layered skirt, Iris adorned a flower printed mid-thigh dress. Rachel Peters also looked chic in her casual white camisole and blue denim paired with a lovely shrug.
They received a warm welcome by DusitThani Hotel staff on arrival with the garlands and bouquets. The girls looked bright and fresh on their arrival. Accidently, Demi-Leigh and Iris bumped into each other at the airport itself, so they travelled together to the Hotel. On arrival, they gave some interviews and waved to the enthusiastic fans there.
All the girls have scheduled their plans to visit Batanes, Vigan, Bohol, and Camiguin. They are also set to attend a charity fashion show and DOT's Christmas party on 7th December 2017. There will also be a Women of Significance Gala Night on 9th December 2017 at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Manila.
The girls’ departure is scheduled for 10th December 2017. Till then, they are going to enjoy the warm hospitality of beautiful Philippines’ people.
