On 17th December 2018 at the conclusion of Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray changed the course of her life when she became the crowned queen. Almost the entire world was rooting for her to win the prestigious title, and her beauty, her contribution to her community and her compassionate soul was the reason.
It has been just a few days since the Miss Universe pageant ended and will a heavy heart, Thailand bid goodbye to this international beauty. But this bittersweet goodbye meant that Catriona could finally go home after staying in a foreign land for the competition.
As per reports, Catriona landed in Manila for the first time since her win and brought the crown home with her. This would be the fourth time that the beautiful land of Philippines will be the home of this precious crown for an entire year.
Catriona landed at Platinum Skies private hangar in Pasay City on 19 December where even though she didn’t stop for any interviews, she said that she was really happy to come back home. Catriona also posted a picture with her parents recently where she thanked them for being on her side at all times.
Catriona took to her social media and wrote, “The two reasons that I am who I am today. My mum and dad have believed in me and my potential since I was a little girl. My daddy taught me to be tough, gutsy and give power to my words. My mum taught me to always trust my intuition and hold a fiery soul in a soft heart. Thank you for continuously guiding me. I love you both beyond words.”
After landing, her schedule consisted of meeting with the children and volunteers of Young Focus, an organization which works for the betterment of kids. The organization was also one of her advocacies in Miss Universe.
Angelopedia wishes her all the very best for her future ventures and a lot of happiness and success for this Filipina beauty.
