Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, the proud winner of Miss Universe 2018 pageant finally flew to Indonesia on 22nd January 2019 for her first trip in her reign for a commercial shoot to Indonesia. She revealed this news on her official Instagram account a few hours ago, where she uploaded a picture of the view of Indonesia from the window of the plane.

Catriona showed her followers behind the scenes pictures from the shoot on her stories, which comprehended the crimson evening gown which she wore during the finale of gala night of the grand event in December 2018. Moreover, she divulged that she would be wearing this crimson coloured gown for the first time since Miss Universe 2018 pageant. The commercial shoot was for You C 1000 Vitamin.

Catriona’s win was under a big spotlight, but apart from her win, her evening gown also became the highlight of the evening in Miss Universe 2018. The crimson coloured gown with splashes of orange and yellow was an amazing choice of colours but the main intention behind wearing this gown was somehow missed.

Catriona wanted a gown which would denote the Mayon volcano located in Albay which is actually Catriona’s hometown. The volcano erupted in January, which causes a lot of destruction of numerous villages around the area.

The Filipina beauty also disclosed that her mother had a dream of her daughter winning the Miss Universe crown wearing a red dress. Her decision of wearing that gown actually favoured both the intentions during the finale and she was able to fulfil her mother’s dreams as well as serve to the cultural and environmental highlights of the Philippines.
