For the new issue of V Magazine, the “America’s Next Top Model” host, 45, Tyra Banks interviewed the reigning Miss Universe Catriona Gray and asked about the tips she has picked up on the pageant circuit. The excitement level of both the ladies could not be hidden as both of them were extremely overwhelmed to speak to each other via video chat.
The interview embarked with Tyra telling Catriona that she is still processing with the Lava Walk of the beauty queen. Tyra then went on asking Catriona “What’s you’re secret? I was totally fangirling! Where were you when you saw that I had tweeted at you?”
To which “Oh my gosh, Tyra... I was sitting at dinner with all the girls. We were tired, quietly eating after rehearsal, when I got all these notifications from what you’d tweeted. I turned to my two friends, Sweden and Denmark, and started freaking out, like, ‘Oh my gosh, Tyra Banks just tweeted about my walk!’” Catriona explained.
Tyra also explained that as per her, Catriona’s ‘Lava Walk’ took away all the credits for Catriona’s Miss Universe crown and to which Catriona replied, “And I freaked out when you tweeted me! You writing ‘Pinoy Power’ was a proud moment for me and all Filipinos!”
