Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray launches ‘The Catriona Gray Academy’

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray took to her social media on 27th June 2021 to announce the launch of her own ‘The Catriona Gray Academy’ via the online platform Nas Academy. The diva is looking forward to fresh beginnings in her life, and the pageant world is ecstatic about the beauty queen's new initiative to teach aspirants how to evolve as a beauty queen.

Catriona mentioned in her post, "I’ll be joining a long list of content creators who’ve turned educators at the Academy – and I can’t wait to use this platform to teach you how to empower yourself every single day. This is my first, in-depth course teaching you the skills and tips I used to conquer the Universe and every other stage I've been on since! The first course is ‘How to be a Queen’ offered by ‘The Catriona Gray Academy’ will help the participants to speak their mind, build confidence, overcome insecurities, and win over challenges and shine like the queen they aspire to be. According to the description mentioned on the Nas Academy website, the coursework will also include the live sister bonding sessions and sleepover party with classmates, monthly meetups with Catriona and join an exclusive community of queens. The beauty queen is regarded as one of the successful and beloved Miss Universe queens in the history, who aspires to help young girls and women to find their path and embrace their power. The Catriona Gray Academy is a step towards the diva empowering and encouraging women and girls to step up and work hard for their dreams especially if one of them is to be a beauty queen and make their country proud.

Catriona Gray is the fourth beauty queen from the Philippines to win the Miss Universe crown in 2018 and her lava walk with patriotic ear cuffs is still regarded as one of the most iconic looks at Miss Universe. In June 2021, Catriona released her version of ‘Raise Your Flag’ a song inspired by the beauty queen’s statements during her Miss Universe 2018 pageant journey. She is very close to her culture and traditions and has been working to vocalize the homegrown brands in her community.
