Miss Universe queens Zozibini Tunzi and Pia Wurtzbach caught up over a live video call on the official Miss Universe Organization Facebook page. Zozibini Tunzi, the reigning Miss Universe, praised Pia Wurtzbach for what she has been doing amidst the health crisis due to covid-19. Pia is definitely a ‘Miss Universe with a heart’ and living upto her name.

Zozibini Tunzi also stated, “Because I just feel you have so many followers. It’s nice that you see, I think, it as a responsibility to use your platform to help others and spread this positivity and light as well. And that’s just incredible.” She is also proud of Pia for continuing the work of a Miss Universe queen years after her reign got over. “Even many years later, you’re still living it. It’s fantastic that you’re doing what you’re doing… We appreciate your help so much, queen”, she quipped.
Pia’s latest campaign is working towards raising money to buy medical face masks for front liners in Metro Manila as the country is on lockdown due to rampant spread of coronavirus. During her conversation with Zozibini, Pia revealed she had already started giving Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to four hospitals.
Amidst all this, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray also shared new information about Young Focus’ ‘No Work-No Pay-No Rice’ campaign. Raising 20,000 dollars so far, Catriona also spoke about how they’ve distributed help to 790 families. Young Focus and other local NGO’s next step is to feed another 1000 families this Friday.
