Asian Powerhouse beauties dominating at Miss Universe 2020

Miss Universe 2020, the 69th edition of Miss Universe, has already begun as contestants from all over the world compete for the most coveted title in this world to be crowned on 16th May 2021. The contestants have already begun their pre-pageant activities as they prepare for the crown at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Florida, USA. Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

While the queens from around the world vie for the crown, six stunning Asian queens are dominating as favorites among pageant followers for top positions at the pageant. These powerhouse divas boast of talent, beauty, capabilities and uniqueness which makes them stand out at the competition.

Miss Universe India 2020 Adline Castelino

India has been having quite a long dry spell at the pageant for the past 21 years. Lara Dutta of India was the last diva to win the title as she was crowned Miss Universe 2000. After her win India has been placed among the Top 20 finalists quite a few times but haven’t really gotten over the spell yet. With Adline’s delegation this year as Miss Universe India 2020, there is a hope in the hearts of Indians and her followers for her to bring the crown home after more than two decades.

Adline’s powerful personality and poised stature makes her one of the strongest contenders at the pageant. 22-years-old Adline has a beautiful face with a dusky tone embracing her features. To add to her brilliance, she also works with VSP, an organization that works towards sustainable livelihood for farmers to curb farmer suicides and inequality. She relates to this cause as her grandparents were farmers and her grandmother died at the age of 22 due to lack of medical facilities. She is another strong contender for the title as she understands what it means to be a true beauty queen.



Miss Universe Nepal 2020 Anshika Sharma

It was only recently in 2017 that Nepal sent their first ever delegate at Miss Universe franchise. Being a recent participation in the pageant, Nepal secured a strong position with its second appearance in 2018 when Manita Devkota won the first ever Miss Universe crown for the country. This year, Anshika Sharma has been crowned the opportunity to represent Nepal at Miss Universe 2020 and she comes as a hot pick to claim a high position at the competition.

Anshika has managed to impress everyone with her positive attitude, dedication towards the crown, and confidence towards performing her best on-stage. She also recently revealed her national costume, the very extravagant outfit inspired by the mountaineers and the peaks Everest. The costume was appreciated and admired quite a lot by the pageant industry. This powerhouse beauty has been stirring up the pageant world, she has managed to make a strong impact on everyone and is assured to secure a high position at Miss Universe 2020.



Miss Universe Vietnam 2020 Nguyen Tran Khanh Van

Although Vietnam has been a part the Miss Universe family for more than 15 years now, the country has never won the title despite top performances by the delegates over the years. It will be intriguing to watch if Nguyen is able to bring home the first-ever Miss Universe crown as she radiates the aura of a potential winner.

The stunning beauty stands 175 cm tall and is not new to the pageant world. Having a huge following and support, Nguyen has been one of the strongest contenders at this edition. She also recently revealed her national costume, penetrating deeply into the minds and history of Vietnamese people, which received good praise and admiration from all over.  Nguyen’s preparations and the costume’s magnificence display potential of a strong combination to take Vietnam at the top of the competition.



Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo

Philippines has had a good run at the Miss Universe pageant since its first participation in 1952. Philippines has always been one of the strongest countries at the competition with four crowns that their queens took home in 1969, 1973, 2015 and recently in 2018. The Filipino queens have been among the favorites every year with stunning performances and a strong delegation.

Rabiya Mateo was crowned the new queen of Philippines who became the official representative of her country at Miss Universe 2020. Rabiya is a beauty with brains who has the capability to bring the crown home. Rabiya’s outfits and looks have been the talk of the town since the commencement of the pageant. She is no less of a goddess, a beauty with brains who is at the top of all hot picks this year. Rabiya stands a high chance at winning the title and also securing a sandwich win for the country.

Thailand has been in the game for more than six decades and yet has only been able to take only two Miss Universe crowns home with the last win being the crowning of Porntip Nakhirunkanok as Miss Universe 1988.
