The recently concluded 69th Miss Universe has been in limelight for quite a lot reasons now from being one of the most awaited pageants of the year to becoming the talk of the town for all kinds of grounds. The pageant followers and fans have not been quite satisfied with some of the decisions at the competition and have been loud and clear about their feelings on social media.

Miss Universe 2020 host, Olivia Culpo had another meme-able moment when she appeared confused at the runner-up placement of Peru’s Janick Maceta, despite the latter’s applauded answers in the final two rounds.

Netizens quipped that Culpo’s obvious disappointment was a reflection of their own sentiment towards the production value of the coronation night, which, they said, was a ‘downgrade’ compared to recent years. Others compared her reaction to the feeling of being disappointed or surprised with the winners’ names.

I was so terrified of reading the wrong country.” We guess Olivia was trying to escape from another iconic Steve Harvey moment and wanted to be sure of the name she announced.

“Apparently, I need to work on my reading face and I’m sorry if this was misinterpreted in any type of way. Every girl was beautiful and most importantly so sweet and kind,” she added clearing the air over the issue and presenting her view on the girls and the results.

Hosting a pageant of such stature is definitely a big responsibility and Olivia was seen to justify it to every bit. Even though the netizens trolled her a little, she herself shared some memes which she found hilarious and turned the whole situation into a light blow.
