She has grown in an environment which was inspired by music culture and in New York, the diva has turned her passion into a career choice.

The diva is not new to the world of pageantry she has represented Peru at Miss Tourism World 2018 which was held in Malaysia and later represented Peru at Miss Supranational 2019 where she was adjudged as the third runner-up. She has shown immense dedication towards the crown and feels very honored and blessed to have finally received it. At the beginning of the Miss Peru 2020 ceremony, Janick referred to her stay outside of Peru as it allowed her to understand that “the essence of Peruvian women lies in her ability to adapt to different circumstances, her strength and love for her loved ones."

She is also a co-founder of the Record Label Top of New York, a company that is responsible for digitizing and producing the musical content of young talents so that they have material with which they can make their way into the music industry. She has an NGO called Little Heroes Peru , created in favor of children who are or have been victims of sexual violence. The young woman also went to them and said "I believe you."

Janick feels blessed and proud of her journey in the beauty pageant world till now and feels that her stint has helped her to understand things better. It helped her to identify her weaknesses, to work on it and exploit her strengths. She also thanked her family for their constant support and stated, “One of the lessons I learned in my childhood was not to believe in stereotypes. Thank goodness my entire family never tried to pigeonhole me into one image or just do something. They didn't tell me things like 'this is for boys, this for girls'. I believe that growing up with this freedom, respect and family support could celebrate myself as I am, without needing to fit into a mold. Being authentic, real, and honest. They are values ??that are my main characteristics.”

She would use the platform to take her NGO’s work forward which is to make people aware of child sexual abuse. She adds, “You need the tools you need to cope with that trauma. There are many entities that help, but I believe that there is no direct channel for child victims of sexual abuse. (...) There are many cameras, in the different regions, that do not work or do not have the personnel.” She also mentioned that she would continue the work of the previous queen as “I don't want to be selfish, and for that reason too, I would like to turn my gaze and help my colleagues with their projects,” she added.

Janick has an enviable gateway handling; every time she walks, she shows off her elegant catwalk. Janick’s beautiful coloured eyes can surely make any heart melt. She has a gorgeous figure and a charming personality, making her an exceptionally well-loved pageant queen all over the world.
