Andrea Meza of Chihuahua crowned Mexicana Universal 2020

The organization of Mexicana Universal hosted the coronation ceremony on 29th November 2020 at Hotel Misión Grand Juriquilla Santiago de Querétaro where Andrea Meza who represented the state of Chihuahua was crowned as the new Mexicana Universal 2020 and earn a chance to represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2020.

Andrea Meza is 26-years-old and stands 182 cm tall and has studied Software Engineering at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua. She is the eldest of three daughters and her younger sisters are named Karen Meza and Mariana Meza.

After winning the crown, she took to her social media to state, “Mexicana Universal 2020. Dreams come true We're going to Miss Universe.” She is very excited to take over the crown duties as Mexicana Universal 2020 and start preparing for Miss Universe 2020 stage. First runner-up: Mexicana Sinaloa 2019 Débora Hallal

Second runner-up: Mexicana Ciudad de Mexico 2019 Brenda Smith

Third runner-up: Mexicana Puebla 2019 Camila Canto

Andrea firmly believes in the empowerment of women, which is why she excelled at various academic, human, and professional levels. She wants to use the platform to empower women and work for the society as she feels deeply for the people in her community. She represented Mexico at Miss World 2017 and was adjudged as first runner-up and was crowned as Miss World Americas 2017 at the end of the event finale.

The diva is determined and focused towards performing her best at the competition and make the people of Mexico proud. She mentioned, “Being determined and disciplined has led me to achieve my goals. That has been my key to success, I am a faithful believer that having your goals clear and working for them will take you far.”  She is one of the favorites for the title and is very strong, confident, and focused towards her goals.

With all her experience in the pageant world and her stunning beauty and grace, Andrea will surely be the toughest contender to beat for the other ladies at Miss Universe 2020.
