Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu landed in Philippines on Sunday. She is one of the special guests for the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 coronation night. The Miss Universe Philippines organization is currently conducting pre pageant activities in full swing.

This is Sandhu’s first trip to the Philippines. While flying off, Sandhu shared a video on MU’s Instagram handle in which she shared,” I am so thrilled and electrified to meet all the contestants of the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 pageant.”

Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines where Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor. Many big stars from the pageant world are expected in attendance.

The event will be hosted by former Miss Universe queens i.e., Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mitternaere and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow.

Yesterday, Harnaaz attended the arrival press conference in Manila. She is scheduled for a conversation with Plan International Philippines on 25th April 2022 for ‘Period Pain: Tackling the challenges of Menstrual Equity.’ It will be a youth-led discussion on the importance of menstrual health, the challenges to proper Menstrual Hygiene Management in the Philippines, and the solutions that can be done to improve it.

On 26th April, 2022 Sandhu will be heading a panel discussion about the same with Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez. Menstrual hygiene is Sandhu’s advocacy. She has been passionately spreading awareness about it, all across the globe. Now, she is set to extend the same support in Philippines.
