Confirmed countries to join Miss Universe 2022

Miss Universe 2022, the 71st Miss Universe, is all set to be held later next year where delegates from all over the world will compete for the coveted crown. The finale details are yet to be announced. Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

As of 30th December 2021, four delegates have been confirmed to compete at Miss Universe 2022. Andreína Martínez, Engracia Mofuman, Aidana Akhantaeva and Amanda Dudamel have been selected to represent Dominican Republic, Ghana, Kazakhstan and Venezuela respectively.

Other than these, Australia, Great Britain, Jamaica, Canada, Greece, Armenia, Panama, Sweden, Iceland, Albania, Kosovo, El Salvador are few of the countries who have opened their registrations to select the 2022 representative.

Malaysia has confirmed to return to Miss Universe after a gap of one year while Bangladesh plans to return to pageantry after a gap of two years. Indonesia will be returning as well after a gap of one year as the country did not send the representative to Israel which hosted Miss Universe 2020.

 

 

The current Miss Universe is Harnaaz Sandhu Miss Universe 2021 who was crowned the new queen on 13th December 2021 in Eilat, Israel. She secured the win for her country, India, which won after a gap of 21 years. Sandhu is also the first Sikh woman to win the Miss Universe crown.
