Miss Kuyamis 2022 Swimsuit Competition was held on 28th December 2021 at the Amaya view where twenty two stunning ladies paraded the stage in Melvin Lachica swimwears. At the end of the event, Miss Kuyamis-Jasaan Jimema Tempra was adjudged ‘Best in Swimsuit’ award.

Jimema took to her official social media to reveal her emotions on winning as she wrote, “I couldn't do it if I hadn't prayed for God ’s grace during the competition. He is victorious, so I keep my faith in receiving the Victory. Indeed, prayers were answered.”

The presence of Misamis Oriental Governor Bambi Emano made the event even more magical. The esteemed panel of judges included Miss Intercontinental Cindy Obeñita, Binibini Araneta City Francesca Taruc, former Mr International Philippines Gil Wagas, Designer Odelon Simpao and PCOL Ranel Valones of the Misamis Oriental PPO. The contestants were judged on the basis of body figure, skin texture, facial appearance, poise and projection.

The reigning titleholder Dannah Tempra was also present at the event while four of the former winners were also in attendance namely Chella Falconer, Isobel Teano, Ana Monica Tan and Berjayneth Chee who placed in their respective national pageants.
