The first-ever Miss Universe Extravaganza event was presented by the new owner of the Miss Universe Organization, the JKN Global Group PCL, was held yesterday, 7th November 2022 at the Siam Pavalai Royal Grand Theatre, Paragon Cineplex, in Bangkok, Thailand.
Anne Jakrajutatip, the owner of the JKN Global Group and a self-made billionaire, the event was broadcasted across JKN streaming channels. The show was also attended by MUO President Paula Shugart and CEO Amy Emmerich.
The highlight of the show which everyone was waiting for was the gathering of former Miss Universe queens - Natalie Glebova (2005), Leila Lopes (2011), Catriona Gray (2018), Andrea Meza (2020), and reigning Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu for the first time. Former Miss Universe Thailand winners and runners-up also attended the event.
Miss Universe Spain 2018 Angela Ponce of Spain, the first ever transgender to compete at Miss Universe, also gave a strong speech at the event.
The JKN Universe Extravaganza gave away gifts worth 7 million baht in total to the fans who attended the newly formed ‘One Universe’ celebration. Following the historic event, a private gala dinner was in the evening at the World Ballroom of the Centara Grand at Central World.
