Miss Universe 2022 has begun with full swing under the new leadership of Thailand-based JKN Global Group. Yesterday, a ‘town hall’ meeting was held with the Miss Universe Organization and the delegates of the 71st edition of Miss Universe.

The meeting saw inspiring conversations from the delegates as well as the organization. There were key points discussed at the meeting which were conveyed to the delegates for a comfortable arrival at the host city – New Orleans, USA.

The Hyatt has been confirmed as the official hotel for the 71st edition. The aim is for tickets to go on sale by 1st December 2022 but its not official yet. Also, since it will mostly be cold weather in the city, the delegates were instructed to dress warmly.

As a part of the pre-pageant activities, the contestants will have multiple shoots throughout the city and will also visit the World War 2 museum. The personalized capes will be an opportunity for the delegates to put their message across.

Upon the arrival of delegates for the fittings, the contestants will have to record a 60 second video on why she wants to be the next Miss Universe which will be shown to the judges prior to the interview.

The first runner-up and the second runner-up will have a chance to stay in Bangkok and travel around as well with the winner of the Miss Universe who will be based between  New York and Bangkok.
