In a breaking news in the pageantry, it is being speculated that Miss Universe Organization has made a major change in the rules of the oldest and the most watched beauty pageant. Any official announcement is yet to be made by the United States-based pageant.

According to the speculations, Miss Universe organization will start accepting married women and mothers competing for the Miss Universe crown starting next year onwards. This means Miss Universe 2023 will be a breakout edition in the history of the pageant.

While it is being said that the national directors received an email announcing this so that they can also implement in their rules from next edition on. A few months ago, Miss Universe organization asked people to fill in a survey and this was one of the things asked.

This year, the 71st edition will be held later in 2022 where Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. As of now, almost forty contestants have been finalized to compete at Miss Universe 2022.
