The Miss Universe Argentina organization hosted its coronation ceremony for the 2021 edition of Miss Universe Argentina on 16 October 2021 at Teatro Broadway in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the national crown and an opportunity to represent the country at the upcoming edition of Miss Universe pageant. Julieta García was crowned as Miss Universe Argentina 2021 at the end of the event finale. She succeeds Miss Universe Argentina 2020 Alina Luz Akselrad for the title.
The 22-year-old is a professional model and loves to create content. Standing 180 cm tall, the diva has walked the runway at the ModaStyle 18 fashion show in La Plata, Argentina.
The queen is not new to the pageant world, previously she competed in Miss Universe Argentina 2019 and was placed as the first runner-up. She bested 21 other candidates for the title of Miss Universe Argentina 2021.
The queen took to her social media handle to express her joy and wrote, “THAT HAPPINESS!!! I waited so long for this moment, we can finally live this experience together. Thank you for believing in me, I will do my best to leave Argentina on top.”
Garcia will represent Argentina at the 70th Miss Universe competition to be held in December 2021 in Eilat, Israel. Andrea Meza of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event. Last year, Miss Universe Argentina 2020 Alina Luz Akselrad made it to the top 21 at the finals of Miss Universe 2020 but unfortunately could not make it further. Argentina last won the Miss Universe crown in 1962 with Norma Beatriz Nolan. Now five decades later, the country trusts in Julieta to repeat the feat at Miss Universe 2021.
