After days of rumours surrounding the franchise ownership of Miss Universe Argentina, Osmel Sousa has been confirmed as the new franchise owner. Along with him, Katty Pulido will be the director and they will together host the national event of Miss Universe Argentina 2019.
Mrs Marta Schuster was the national director before Osmel who for unknown reasons did not hold a national competition in the country and for several years was sent a candidate appointed by the model agency Emme Management.
Katty Pulido, director of the renowned modelling agency by her own name, has for some time been based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She applied for the acquisition of the franchise as recognition for years of experience and worked together with the Tsar of Beauty in selecting the candidates.
Last year, Osmel Sousa announced his retirement from his position as a head of Miss Venezuela Organization. Quite evident, Venezuela holds the maximum number of Miss Universe crowns after the USA. So, it will be interesting to see which direction Osmel takes with hosting Miss Universe Argentina this year.
