Miss Universe Armenia 2020 Monika Grigoryan has begun her journey to the 69th Miss Universe as she flew off to Florida a few hours ago. . The stunning diva will make her first stop in New York and then reach the official venue in Florida.

The Miss Armenia organisation confirmed her departure on their social media, where they wrote, “Let's start! Road to Miss Universe,” along with a picture of Monika holding up the tricolour flag looking like a doll in a white dress.

Monika also took to her social media to share, “And finally off we go! I would like to express my gratitude to you for being always with me. It is a real privilege that give me confidence to attain goals.”

Monika is 21-years-old and studies at the University of Languages and social sciences named after Valery Bryusov. Her major is English language and literature and she is passionate about beauty pageants and representing Armenia at the international competition. She feels extremely blessed and honoured that she has the chance to represent her home country at Miss Universe 2020.

The diva has worked with an orphanage where she organized not only material support, but also a beauty pageant for children. She states that many girls at the orphanage dream about making their own ways into a modelling sphere and she made their dreams come true.

Monika is beautiful, confident, radiates positivity and is determined to perform her best on-stage to make the people of Armenia proud. She also thanked the organization for the opportunity and assured that she will perform her best on-stage.

Miss Universe 2020 will be held on 16th May 2021 in Hollywood, Florida. The delegates will be staying at the Hotel Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida, USA. Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
