The beauty queen recently posted pictures on her social media account stating that she is very grateful for the opportunities she had and specially being able to represent her country at such a prestigious stage. Remembering her win, the diva also explained that beauty pageants are always stereotyped with the fact that only delegate with a pretty face wins but it’s nothing sort of that. She further mentioned, “I’ll forever be grateful for this experience. It gave me a platform to build a career I could only dream of, meet incredible people and bring me to where I am today.”

Jesinta who was crowned as the Miss Universe Australia 2010 and later the second runner-up at Miss Universe 2010 explains that she has learnt so much from the beauty pageants and feels immense amount of gratitude towards everyone who has helped her in her journey. She further mentioned that there were no social media back in 2010 so she has all the memories in her heart and tries to relive her moments when ever she sees a picture online. Jesinta who has a daughter now states that she can’t wait to show her the pictures of her winning the crown and share her stories with her to make her strong, confident, and determined like her.

It’s been ten years since Jesinta won the crown but in one of her interviews she mentioned, "The key thing I learned in Miss Universe Australia is it's actually not looks-orientated. It's all about what you bring with your personality. When I walked out on that stage in a bikini, no one was looking at all the little flaws. I could see they were looking at my facial expression, like am I enjoying it? Am I engaging with the crowd? That's what people are looking for. Like it's all your personality. It's not about all looks."

She was a guest reporter for The Morning Show, reporting on topics related to fashion, entertainment, and pop culture. Franklin also co-hosted alongside Matty Acton for the Hot30 Countdown.

In October 2011, she appeared as a contestant on the Nine Network's ‘The Celebrity Apprentice Australia’ as a member of Team Unity.
