At the grand slam finale of Miss Universe Australia 2015 held in Melbourne on June 5’ 2015, Monika Radulovic hailing from Sydney was crowned the Miss Universe Australia 2015, by the outgoing queen, Tegan Martin. Monika will now represent Australia at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. At the same event, Madeline Cowe was adjudged the first runner-up, Melissa Barnard was adjudged second runner-up, Chanel Stewart third runner-up and Tasha Ross fourth runner-up.
Monika Radulovic has completed her Bachelors in Psychology with honours last year. She wants to complete her masters and work for adolescents and children. Monika was the winner of Miss Tourism Australia in 2012 and also was a contestant at the Miss Universe Australia 2014 pageant. Monika Radulovic was the clear public favourite since the beginning of the Miss Universe Australia 2015 pageant.
The candidates from all around Australia competed for the envious crown of Miss Universe Australia 2015. There were a total of 35 ladies, including eight from Melbourne, who competed for the title. The finals kicked off with contestants walking the ramp parading spring/summer collection and novo shoes. The parade was followed by the swimsuit competition, which landed up to the Top 10 semi-finalists - Claire Parker, Melissa Barnard, Chanel Stuart, Tasha Ross, Nonny Mulholland, Megan Ryan, Monika Radulovic , Alicia Maxwell , Madeline Cowe and Danielle Johnson. After the swimsuit round, next was the evening gown competition. The Top 10 floored the stage with their elegance and poise and based on the swimsuit competition, the Top 5 finalists were selected - Melissa Barnard, Chanel Stuart, Tasha Ross, Monika Radulovic and Madeline Cowe.

The finale of Miss Universe Australia 2015 was a star studded event. It was all glitz and glamour on the red carpet as the venue filled up for the Miss Universe Australia 2015 crowning. The event was embellished by the presence of actors and models of Australia. The guests and judges for the night included Gina Liano from The Real Houeswives Of Melbourne, former Today show entertainment reporter Richard Reid, Toni Pearen, The Voice star Johnny Rollins and former Miss Universe Australia Olivia Wells.
The outgoing queen Tegan Martin expressing her amazing journey and experience of the whole year said, “It’s definitely been a life changing year for me. It’s taken me in a different direction in what I thought I would do in my life, but I’m really excited about the future”. She also shared that watching the delegates compete in swimwear, evening gown and judged on random questions still makes her nervous. However, for the first time in four years of competing, she can now relax. “It is so nice to just sit back and enjoy watching the show,” she said.
