Francesca Hung Crowned Miss Universe Australia 2018

Miss Universe Australia 2018 held its grand finale on 28th June 2018 at the Sofitel, Melbourne where thirty two gorgeous divas competed for the national crown. Miss Universe Australia 2017 Olivia Molly Rogers crowned Francesca Hung from New South Wales as her successor at the end of the finale. Francesca will now represent Australia at Miss Universe 2018.

The 24-year-old beauty queen lives near the northern beaches of Sydney. She is Eurasian, as she has a Chinese father and an Irish Mother. Francesca has completed her undergrad in Arts and Sociology and is now tackling a Masters in Publishing at The University of Sydney. She is completing her masters as part-time as she works full-time as a model.

The grand finale was, indeed, a grand affair with an evening full of glamour, beauty and style. The finale featured an introduction of each of the contestants along with a runway show parading in stunning swimwear and designer gowns.

The top 10 finalists were announced by the panel as the competition moved further- Francesca Hung, Darcy Spinks, Madeleine Stein, Baylee Saltmarsh, Jasmine Stringer, Tahan Lew, Emily Tokic, Dominique Chehade, Teagan Downey and Tasha Ross.

The runway was followed by a question and answer section in which the top 5 finalists answered the questions of the jury. The top 5 which were chosen out of the already announced Top 10 finalists were - Emily Tokic, Baylee Saltmarsh, Tasha Ross, Jasmine Stringer and Francesca Hung.

Miss Universe Australia 2018 Francesca’s court also included -

First Runner-Up – Jasmine Stringer

Second Runner-Up – Tasha Ross

Third Runner-Up – Bailey Saltmarsh

Fourth runner up – Emily Tokic
