After a successful national debut, Miss Universe Bangladesh organization is all set to launch the second edition of the national pageant. Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020 was officially launched on 11th January 2011 at a media conference held at Hotel Pan Pacific Shonargaon, Dhaka.

The grand finale will be held this March in Dhaka and the winner will participate in Miss Universe 2020. ‘Confidently Beautiful’ is the new motto of Miss Universe Bangladesh.

The competition has now commenced with the organization announcing the format, application, audition and selection procedure and the schedule of events. The website will be open for applicants from 13th January 2021 to 25th January 2021.

Rafiqul Islam Duke, president of Miss Universe Bangladesh said, “Miss Universe Bangladesh will feature some of the most beautiful, intelligent, elegant, talented and confident women of our country. This will be the platform where confident Bangladeshi women will face the challenge of the world and serve humanity through various social works.”

“The violence against women is a burning issue in our country and through this initiative it will be addressed all across the country to increase awareness against this violence. It is a great pride for us that someone from Bangladesh will be goodwill ambassador of our country in a global platform and show that Bangladeshi women are as confident as any other women of the world”, she added.
