Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has started her New Year on a social note as she has started a birthday fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Philippines, which has named her its first ambassador for 2021.

Catriona took to her official social media as she encouraged all her followers to help her in giving hope and happiness to the diseased children. She wrote, “Hey Friends! Last year for my birthday you helped me fundraise Php388,000 (USD$8,080) for SmileTrain Philippines (smiletrain.org) which went towards giving life changing surgeries to children with cleft. This year, for the whole month of January, I’m partnering up with Make-A-Wish Philippines as their first ambassador for 2021.”

“The Make-A-Wish Philippines foundation helps grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. To learn more about the amazing work that they do you can visit www.wishes.ph. I hope you’ll join in supporting me in this fundraising effort to give hope and happiness to children who battle against huge challenges day in and day out. Donate and help my birthday wish of granting Filipino children’s wishes come true. Any amount is welcome! God Bless You and from the bottom of my heart”, she added.

Last year, for her birthday, Catriona partnered with Smile Train Philippines to raise P388,000 for surgeries of children with cleft. Our stunning Miss Universe 2018 has also been busy with advocacy work for the HIV/AIDS organization ‘Love Yourself Philippines’.
