At the grand coronation night of Miss Universe Barbados 2019 held a few hours ago on 7th September 2019, Shanel Marie Ifill was crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Barbados 2018 Meghan Theobalds and will now represent her country in Miss Universe 2019.
The announcement was not shocking at all as we predicted her win early in the competition. The stunning beauty proved to be a strong contender for the crown ever since the beginning of the competition. Shanel is just 20 years of age and stands a whopping six feet tall.

Shanel is currently in 2nd year at University pursuing her degree in law while doing an internship at a law firm and modeling professionally all at the same time.
At the coronation night, as Shanel won the crown, the first runner-up position was awarded to Beviny Payne who performed with excellence and grace at the national contest as well.
