Crown Events Inc. drops franchise for Miss Universe Barbados

24 Mar 2022 | Camilla Suarez

In a recent and elaborative post, the Crown Events Incorporation has official announced the dropping of Miss Universe Barbados franchise. According to the statement, after two very challenging years brought about by the pandemic, the organization has made the difficult decision to relinquish its franchise for the Miss Universe pageant.

Crown Events Inc. began this journey in 2016, with no idea about the number of positive life-changes it would bring about. The primary goal was to make a positive impact and a difference in the lives of the young ladies, who would place their trust in them to help them become better versions of their authentic and confident selves.

The Miss Universe Barbados franchise intended to promote the empowerment of young women throughout the country, as well as being strong advocates for those talents in the fashion, health, and beauty industries.

“Over the last 6 years, we have truly enjoyed being the standard bearer for this global juggernaut in Barbados. There are truly no words to adequately express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the over 40 amazing young ladies who have crossed our stage at Miss Universe Barbados,” they wrote.

They also extended gratitude and appreciation towards the sponsors, the crowned queens, to the Barbadian public and the Miss Universe family as they signed off, “From all of us at Miss Universe Barbados, That’s a wrap!”
