Miss Universe Cambodia 2020 is all set to crown its new queen in the 4th edition of Miss Universe Cambodia as the search for the national delegates has started. The winner of the title will be representing Cambodia at Miss Universe 2020 and succeed Miss Universe Cambodia 2019 Somnang Alyna.
The delegates for the national pageant are yet to be revealed by the organization but there is a wish list that is being prepared of the national delegates who have the potential and skills to win the title and represent Cambodia at Miss Universe 2020. Roeun Youry is one of the potential beauties whose name has made it to the list of the delegates for the national pageant.
Roeun Youry from Banteay Meanchey is 21-years-old and is a graduate from Cambodian International University. She works as an accountant at a media agency as well as works as a professional model.
Roeun Youry or Yuri can be considered for the title of Miss Universe Cambodia 2020 as she is not new to the pageantry world as she participated in Miss Grand Cambodia 2017 and was placed at Top 10. She later participated in Miss Universe Cambodia 2019 and was placed at Top 10. She has worked for various photographers and designers for their projects and has learned more about fashion and beauty world. Even though she didn’t find her place in the Top 5 but was very impressive on stage and was well-appreciated by the judges/
Roeun is young and believes that she has a long way to go in the beauty pageant world. She works on her on-stage walk, postures, angels and body language as she believes that these are the essential factors that a beauty queen is judged on during a competition. She has a very kind and subtle attitude towards everyone and tries to maintain a good and healthy friendship with everyone.
