At the grand coronation night of Miss Universe Canada 2018 held tonight, Marta Magdalena Stepien representing South Ontario, was crowned the new queen by her predecessor Miss Universe Canada 2017 Lauren Howe. Marta will now represent Canada at Miss Universe 2018.

24-year-old Marta is currently studying biomedical engineering technology studies, and is working as an applied researcher and model. Miss Universe Canada 2018 Marta Magdalena’s court included –
1st Runner-up: Camila Gonzalez
2nd Runner-up: Sasha Lombardi
3rd Runner-up: Megha Sandhu
4th Runner-up: Sallyblossom Wright

The newly crowned queen is not new to the pageant world she placed 1st Runner-Up at Miss Universe Canada 2017, she went on to receive the title of Miss International Canada 2017, and competed at Miss International that year. Marta also represented Canada at Reinado Internacional del Café 2018 (Miss International Queen of Coffee) where she placed 1st Runner Up.

At the finale night, out of the forty-six beautiful divas competing for the national title, Top 20 were announced - Marta Stepien, Camila Gonzalez, Sasha Lombardi, Megha Sandhu, Sallyblossom Wright, Rita Houkeyam, Sarah Martens, Brittany-Anne Dawes, Nicolette Santilli, Tessa Johnston, Tasha Toulouse, Keyla Lattano, Gloren Guelos, Ashley Florestal, Alicia Angus, Priiya Singh, Elizabeth Quan, Vanessa Chauhan, Karol Lopez and Nova Stevens.
Out of the Top 20, the judges picked out their Top 10 contestants who went a step closer to the national crown - Rita Houkeyam, Sarah Martens, Brittany-Anne Dawes, Nicolette Santilli, Tessa Johnston, Camila Gonzalez, Sasha Lombardi, Megha Sandhu and Sallyblossom Wright.
Two special awards were also given out to Keyla Letanno who won the award of Miss Congeniality and Nova Stevens who won the title of Miss Photogenic.
